Question about Hotpoint WF430 Front Load Washer

Washer doesn't stop

Hi My washing machine continues to wash and does not progress to the rinse and spin stage. It seems it will do this for an indefinate amount of time. I can manually stop the wash and restart it at the rinse and spin stage. Can anyone help?

washer starts up fills with water start to wash then trip out the light on rinse hold and on/off start to flash and pump empty the water from washer

Select a hot wash of some kind and check if the water heats. if not, problem could be heater or associated stat

What causes a washing machine not to drain and spin?

If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing.

Why does the washer set on normal go into the extra rinse but doesn't spin dry? (Extra rinse switch not on)

You will need to replace the timer. Here is the part to order.

Washing machine won't agitate to wash, it fills, then stops. If you move to the rinse and spin, then it continues on.

Going through full wash as normal but won,t go onto rinse or spin mode?

Hi,
Most front load units must have two things, door must lock and must sense cold water for rinse. I would check the fill line for the cold water, if clogged with sand, it will not progress through cycle. If the unit doesn't drain it will not spin, is there water left inside the drum area?

Washer does not rinse & spindry after getting submerged in water.

everything needs to be checked from the timer control button to the motor, im guessing it agitated through the wash cycle but wont spin now right? your flood could have damaged any number of items... run through ( with the machine unpluged ) and test the components for continuity and/or resistance.

Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 WM63. fills with water...I dont think it is heating water...rarely rotates and spins (saw it once in early stage of J prog only) seems to fill and empty but no rotate or spin....

if it fill with water then stops it is the ellement the machine first fills turns the drum then heats up the thermostat cuts in and the it emptys rinses and spins so if it does not get to temp it will stop or continue to wash forever

Washing machine not spining

You may have a problem with the rotor position sensor. This sensor is situated on the motor windings and should really be replaced by a qualified tech.
