When I bake, my oven will start beeping and flash F2, what is that and how do I stop it?

Which manufacturer built your oven? The F2 error usually means that the oven temperature sensor is claiming the oven is too hot (or got too hot in the past). This usually requires replacing the temperature sensor. Sometimes, the control unit (clock) needs to be replaced.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model of your oven for additional support.

F2 flashes and beeps. What does it mean?

F2 usually means that for an unknown reason, the oven temperature has exceeded a preset threshold.
Check the sensor bulb in your oven, it could be bad or your thermostat is not working properly.

Amana Self-cleaning Oven flashes F2 and F3 and beeps. It doesn't get real hot. Although it does heat up not the appropriate temperature.

Hi, F2 error code on the Amana Oven means "Oven too hot" You have to replace Oven temperature sensor to fix it.
F3 error code means "Open or shorted oven temperature sensor". Yo also have to replace Oven temperature sensor to fix it.

Summarily, both code has to do with the temperature sensor which you need to replace...

I have a Jenn Air Oven that quit working. It

HI - The code described, F3 then F2 both correspond with indicated failure of the temperature sensor. This is a fairly inexpensive part and is easy to replace. The normal resistance of the sensor is 1000-1100ohms. Worth fixing for sure. Complete model number from tag on unit will be needed to get correct part. Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed- Thanks-  Ed

Dacor single oven flashes an F2 error code and won't stop beeping!!!

This is from manufacture service manual:

-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.
