Problem with televison...please help

TV was working fine last night, but would not turn on this morning. Niether the remote or front button on the TV have any effect, no click, nothing. HOWEVER, if I unplug it and plug it back in, I hear the click/clunk and hmmm like it is turning on, but it never fully turns on the click/clunk lasts about 3 seconds and is gone. Unplug and repeat with same results.

I have a samsung LE26R51BDX/XEU last night we turned the TV on and the volume went up by itself to 100 (without the control). The TV volume will not go down using the buttons at the side or the remote...

Sounds like the control buttons [microswitches] of the volume, inside the front panel control, have been strucked by anyway. Just replace it. Two of them. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Unplug the TV for maybe 10 minutes, then turn it on. Sometimes these units simply need to recycle. If that doesn't work, you've likely got serious problems.

Remote won't work

Will not turn on, but....

the arc when you plug it in is from the degause cirt operating, the fault sounds like at least a pwr supply repair $100, & or vertical + $50,and or horizontal + $150,If water is the reason.
