If your dog is on a diet, you can still give him all-natural treats. You can also give him Low-fat treats, naturally nutritious, all-vegetable or grain-based healthy treats to keep him happy.

My dog is overweight and I don't want to take his treats away from him entirely. Can anyone suggest some good treats for a doggie on a diet?

You should get your dog all-natural treats filled with proteins. I have located a great site about low-fat, all-natural treats for you to browse through.

You can treat your dog as often as you see fit, especially during training, however the treats should not effect meal times and should not exceed 10% of the dogs overall diet.
