Watch hi i just got a watch without the manual its a techno marine cronograph and i have no clue how to get the watch to start ticking (its not broken) can u help me ? thanx dani

    I just received a TechnoMarine women's TechnoSquare Chrono. It worked for the first day. I didn't wear it for a few days and now it's not working. The chrono features still work, but the watch isn't keeping time. Any ideas? I've been wearing it the past several hours and have tried moving it around...

If you're referrring to the second hand that is not moving, just push button A (the one on the top) once.

If it is an automatic you will have to wear it or shake it for a little while. If it is quartz then the battery might have to be changed.

If the second is ticking as normally it is not the battery. If the battery is low the second hand will advance only at 5 second intervals meaning for four seconds the second does not move and on the 5th second it will advance by five seconds. This is a feature unique to Tag Heuer.

Hi alec,

I see that you cannon watch is not ticking even after you have set the time.

Well after you set the time you push the knob back in once the time is set right then the watch should start ticking that instant.

If the watch is not ticking at all then it is either a damaged watch or the watch sold to you may not have batteries on it.

can you give me a model and info regarding the watch maybe we can get information or a manual about the watch for further checking before considering it to be broken.

Also if you can try calling or going back to where you purchased the watch maybe they give you details on why it will not click since you just bought it I believe they will assist you if it may need replacing.

Bulova Men's Marine Star Alarm Watch 98A000 I bought this watch but it didn't have an owners manual to use/set/describe features/alarm/etc. Bulova's website sure isn't very user friendly in this regard....
if its a cronograph they can be complcated but in most major cities look for a place called battries and bands or precision time bothe are the same company and have a web sight. if you find a close location the people will be happy to help you and they do realy good work for a resonable price.

Techno Marine MO4 Watch, Seconds hand doesn't reset to top cente
You do not need to return the watch. It has self adjusting features (operated by the owner). Pull out crown to the first click, then push and hold the pushbutton at 2 o'clock to adjust the hand. When done - push crown back in.
If it doesn't work, pull out crown to the second click and do as described above.

As long as the watch is a quartz watch, the battery can still be changed by any store that changes watch batteries of that quality watch.  I would suggest either Tourneau or Precision Time.
