Reverse fisheye!! My Samsung, hcn653w, went from perfect picture to a reverse fisheye effect almost while I was watching it! The picture is concave and the colors are way out of convergence. The left side is worse than the right. Tried autofocus(no good) and manual convergence(crosshairs won't budge). SOOO, what am I looking for? I need laymans terms, part numbers and explanations. I like to be prepared. Tanks in advance!!!

You are going to need to replace the convergence board assembly. It is available at http://www.samsungparts.com/part_detail.asp?catalog%5Fname=Parts+and+Accessories&product%5Fid=BP95%2D00142P&search%5Fmodel=HCN653W. Also get the service manual, as you will need to do some touchup convergence and reset the perfect focus setup again If you have the technical ability. If you do, great! If you do not, these service menu alighnments can mess up your set, so take no shortcuts. Good Luck

What is the perfect setting for my samsung series4 plasma tv so i can enjoy the perfect picture on this tv

Best way to set is watch a program with lots of human faces; then adjust the color and contrast for most human like picture and the rest will become more perfect. There is usually no factory adjustment listed in the manual. But you can download the manual online and check it if you wanted to do so.

Lost picture and sound On Samsung HCN653W Rear Projection TV

If the picture is reduced in size all the way around, then you are looking at a power supply issue. That would also explain it shutting down.

MVC-FD71 Question

I do not know of the picture perfect mode. In neg art mode the image will appear as a negative on the screen. If you open it to an image editing application with an invert image command in it, you will actually see what you would have seen had it been shot in normal mode. You can print it either way. If it looks like a neg on your screen then it will look like that on your print.
