I have a Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series Stainless Steel Gas Range. When I try and operate the oven part of cooker, I have to press the "Bake Temp" button. The word 'bake' comes up on the screen along with 3 dashed lines.
I set the temperature using the temp up and down arows, and it shows me the temparature that I have set (i,e. 360C).
However after about 5 secs, the temp on the display changes to 100C and the work "ON" appears in the display, and the oven does not heat up.
The gas hobs work fine, as do the broil part and the Pre-heat function (which is part of the top of the oven), but the part of the oven where the gas comes out does not work.
It has worked before.
I have taken the bottom baffling off to see if there is anything obvious but I can't see anything.
The ignitor does not seem to come on and no gas seems to some out. For the boil part of the range cooker, the ignitor seems to glow bright orange, then you can hear the gas start to come out and it ignites.
For the bottom part the ignitor does not come on at all.
Do you have any thoughts?
Many thanks.Thank you TheMobilian.

Same issue here but broiler works and range top works. Oven just won't ignite. Is there a separate pilot light for it? Same issue here but broiler works and range top works. Oven just won't ignite. Is there a separate pilot light for it?

I understand you are seeking a manual and I'm assuming your
model number is GLEFM397DS, posted above. If so, I have located the Owner's Guide on the manufacturer website. Here you will be able to access step by step
instructions on how to operate the oven. I hope this information helps to some
degree. If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to

You would definitely want to seek out a professional technician to diagnose the unit. Gas units are very dangerous if you are not use to working on them. You could have a slow gas connection or flow, a faulty valve, or bad ignition. All would absolutely need a professional to diagnose and repair, this is not a typical DIY job.
HI, there may be some issues within the dual safety gas valves. they mat be malfunctioning. these valves control the gas flow and if the shut prematurely, it will disrupt the heating process. You could also have a sensor issue as well but, im sensing that this abnormal shutdown is being cuased by a fualty Dual oven safety valve assembly.
