Question about Sony Grand Wega Kf-42we610 42-inch Hdtv-ready Lcd Rear Projection Tv
I removed the back panel of the tv. disconnected the wires and removed two of the fans but I still cannot locate the thermal fuse.

SOURCE: I have a Sony Grand Wega KF-42WE610. When turned
there is a 12v cable to main board it prob has a dry joint

blinking red power light 6 times. Tv picture goes on and off. Then the red lamp light came on? Now nothing.

SOURCE: I have a sony KF-42WE610. When I go to power it
More than likely it is the G1 board or Thermal Fuse. I replace the thermal fuse and it is still giving me the 6 blinking red lights. Thermal fuse is $40 and cheapest G1 board I have found on-line is $120. I am about to pull the trigger on the G1 board and give it a shot.

I removed the electrical chasis and also the optical block from the tv. I was still unavle to locate the thermal fuse. Everything I have read states that the fuse is located under the lamp but it is not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
