SOURCE: my sony KDP-51WS550 tv has no picture, only sound,
Hello,
The problem is from the lamp of the television, it is about to develop a fault that is why the picture goes off but you have sound.
The 10 blinks you see on the led is a symbol that the television is having a fault that needs to be checked.
The solution is for you to open up the television and locate the lamp and replace it with a new one, once you replace the lamp, the television will be in good condition once again.
Take care and good luck

Hi Kimber, Hope I helped you. Thanks for using Fixya
The main reasons of your problem is the bulb which is
already faulty to its end. The unit will automatically shuts off when it sense a
bulb failure. But before you replace the bulb I would advice you to work first
on itspower supply. Look for open
fuse/fusible resistor and spot some bad solder joints. This will do the same symptoms
like what it showing now. If you don't have necessary tools
and test instruments, and can't do the job yourself, I would advice you to
look for a professional to
troubleshoot the problem. Don't attempt to work in the power supply if you
don't know the safety precaution of
handling it, there some stored electricity enough to hurt you with
a little mistake only.
Have a nice day!
