It's a calypso and is apparantly stopped up.Can I take the calypso agitator off and clear it?
The ld fault is a long drain error. Check your drain pump reservoir and drain hoses for clogs. Removing the agitator in my opinion would be unnecessary. Unplug your machine and remove the back panel. There should be a drain pump reservoir at the bottom under the wash basin. They are notorious for collecting lint and hair and can obstruct the drain flow. You can also squeeze along the drain lines and feel for obstructions. To access the drain pump itself, its easier to remove the front panel. You will need to release the two metal hold down clips located under the front lip approx. two inches from either side. You need a putty knife to push in on the clips and lift on the top front at the same time. Once you have the top released, lift up and remove two screws holding the front panel. The front panel should pull away leaving an open access to the inside cabinet. The drain pump is located on the lower right-hand side of the wash tub at the very bottom of the unit. You can easily remove the two drain lines at the pump and check for obstructions there as well. Again, unplug the unit before servicing the pump. I hope this helps.
