It most likely blew a fuse as a result of the power supply or the power output curcuit blowing out. Unless you have the proper tools and the the right test equipment , I am afraid you will not be able to repair this as this repair will require you to have the circuit diagram and follow the short. My best advise would be if this unit cost less the a couple of hundred bucks, Time to go shopping, as the repair would most likely exceed half if not more. Good Luck

How do I connect my iPod to a stereo Kenwood

<p>The superior audio quality thanks to the Kenwood stereo system is as good as any on the market. However, many of Kenwood audio receivers contain no iPod connection port. Is the fuel pump coming on? Turn the key to on position and listen by gas tank for a humming noise for fuel pump. Check the accident fuel shut off switch in the trunk, it should be on driver side in trunk, behind carpet- pad. if the button is up. Push it down to reset.

Kenwood ktv617dvd Power shuts off then comes back on by itself?

It sounds like there is a short somewhere in your wiring. If the problem got worse when you installed the aftermarket stereo then it may be on the factory side of the plug. You may try powering the stereo by some other means. For example, try a wire with an inline fuse directly from the fuse block to the power wire on the stereo. You can also tap into the ignition wire that way the only way it will get power is when the key is turned on. Don't forget the inline fuse if you try it that way. I had to do that with a stereo I once had.

JVC KD-G351 question

It sounds like your stereo is working properly. I've never seen a car stereo that was wired properly that you could turn on and listen to while the car was off with the key removed from the ignition switch. You would have to move the ignition switch to the accessory position in order to get the stereo to work. Hope this helps. Good luck. Mike D.
