Cybershot p92 blurred and streaky image

Sony p92, after drop, has incurred an on and off vertical lines blurred image. LCD works fine any time when copying off the matchstick, but not in "live" camera function. Is it worth saving?

Upon newly purchased, vertical lines appearing intermittently with blurred images, puzzy or color changed every picture, very baddddd model, them!!! cost of lens is more than new, so why buy sony cam...

Hi,

This is a common problem. Check the previous images saved. If even the saved images/video's looked blurred, this confirms defective LCD screen. If saved images are fine, then this is highly suggestive of faulty CCD sensor.

If that is LCD screen, it could be an expensive deal to get it replaced as compared to the cost of the product. However, if it is CCD sensor, you could contact Sony and see, if there is any recall for it as in the past, there were certain recalls due to CCD sensor. However, as this is pretty new and under warranty, get it replaced/repaired ASAP.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Printer output has shadows, blurring, streaks, lines, poor color

Seem like blocked hole(s) on the color print head...
Most likely if there is a deep clean option then do it (may need a few times to unblock a hole or never).
Also get the printer physically cleaned up if you can see dusts inside (vrtical lines on color bars).

Black vertical lines on LCD screen

The CCD screen, or the CCD ribbon cable, or the CCD driver board may be defective, or there may be cold solder connections on the circuit board.

These cameras are serviced by changing modules, circuit boards, specific parts.

You will have to give the camera in for service.
