Switch to a more advanced monitor... if its a desktop we are talking about. or adjust the resolution option on the PC by goin to display setting. to go there (for windows) go to the start menu and tipe display. there you adjust the resolution. if you are in a mac
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
Select Scaled, then select one of the scaled resolution options.
Firstly you need to switch to the monitor's optimal resolution of 1024x768 @ 85Hz and before anyone posts anything about resolution 1024x768 @ 85Hz is the optimum not the maximum.
To change to this resolution:
Assuming you are using Windows XP click with the right mouse button an an empty part of the desktop and select Properties (or click Start, then click Control Panel then click Display), on the Settings tab, under Screen resolution, drag the slider bar until it says 1024x768 and then click Apply.
Also in Display settings you'll find an advanced button, in the advanced panel you'll see the option to adjust the refresh rate, try adjusting this to 85Hz.
Now press the Menu Button on the front of the monitor and press + of - until you see an option called "Degauss" and press the select button on the front of the monitor, your screen will do a disturbing jump and flicker accompanied by a metallic thud, this is normal.
If this doesn't help message back.
use the menu button on the side of the tv
that brings up the screen menu
using the channel and volume buttons move around until you find aspect ratio
find the one that fits the screen and press the menu button to save and exit
it could be a pixel setting so find pixel settings while the menu is on the scree and adjust to the correct pixel setting
there are plenty of remotes for tv units on e-bay
all you have to do is select one that is for sanyo led/lcd tv's and read the details to see it it works your model tv
It looks like your tv is unable to handle the output video resolution from your bluray. The reason why you do not have picture on the tv screen after the bluray disc logo appears.
You can follow the instruction below to set the video resolution on your player to its lowest resolution:
1. Using your bluray remote control, press the following buttons in order... STOP button (press and release) ....HOME button (press and release)....POP UP/MENU button ( press and release )
Note: press the buttons in order with 1 second interval. Make sure tv and bluray are ON when you try this. If first attempt nothing happens, try this again.
2. When the home menu screen appears after doing the above instruction, you can set the video resolution again manually. Follow the instruction:
Using the BD remote control press HOME button > then go to SETUP > select screen settings > then change OUTPUT VIDEO RESOLUTION to Auto > change also 24P OUT to 1080P // set the BD-ROM 24P OUTPUT to Auto
The next time you turn on the bluray player you will have picture again.
If you can access the Menu options with your present universal remote, get into it, and surf thorugh picture adjustment and PIP adjustment screen, and set the PIP option to OFF. If you can't access the Menu option with your present remote control, there is no other way to do this without its original remote control.
Hello It is immpossible to set its screen resolution or screen size, without it remote control. Try to get one original remote control, from the authorised service center for Emerson at your town, or buy a universal remote control, which have setup codes for Emerson TV with it. OK.
You might not be able to. If the screen size doesn't adjust with the wide/view mode/picture format button on the television remote control you have to change the resolution on the pc. You right click on an empty spot on the desktop, choose properties, and then choose the settings tab. A lower resolution will cause the image to fill the screen but the icons get really big. The image isn't as refined. However you may be able to play around with it enough to find a good enough resolution and a view mode with the Emerson remote that will work out for you (a combination of the two).
if the whole image is too long you can adjust it from tthe image driver ..it will be in the right side on the task bar near the programs that are opened all the time ..and named like the video card you are using and usually will display when hoovering the resolution in use..open the resolutions and choose one that fits best...and confirm .. To adjust just the the picture from the desktop ..right click on the desktop..properties..and desktop...in there choose the desktop image ..or change image ..and you will have 3 possibilities for adjusting the picture to fit..center ...stretch..and tile.. see them one by one ...if non of the stile will make it visible in a normal way ..then you should change the picture,,and choose a wallpaper that it is in the same form and big enough to fit.... T change a picture on the wallpaper it is enough to right click on it when its opened ..and choose it to be set as wallpaper from the list of tasks...
Choose Screen Resolution
For higher legibility of documents on screen, you can adjust the screen resolution of your monitor (for monitors that support more than one screen resolution option). The higher the number of pixels, the more information you can display on your screen and the smaller items appear. Lower screen resolution makes items appear larger and can benefit people with vision impairments. This procedure tells you how to adjust screen resolution through Display Properties in Control Panel.
