Find a new AC engineer approved by LG. All AC Units leak a small amount at the compressor bearings and seals. It sounds like yours needs some sealant. and gas, or a new sensor. Diagnosis by an LG trained engineer is needed.
According to the manufacture this unit never needs draining it vaporizes the liguid.
If it were to have a water tank it would be in the bottom of the unit and you can see the level in the tank, on models that have a tank they simply pull out and remove to be drained.

you cant change to a different gas without changing the compressor oil...they have different properties that dont mix with other gasses... in some cases the compressor also needs changing
