Trouble with my cyberhome ch-dvd 300

I was not having a problem with my DVD player until I switched from cable television to a satellite dish. I get the cyberhome screen on my tv. It says to "insert disc" (disc is already inserted.) I press play then the "insert disc" message goes away and the screen shows a circle with a line through it in the top right corner. I still only have the cyberhome screen no movie. Solutions I tried Using the tv remote, I have the channel set on "front" and my cables are hooked to the side of the tv. I was told to hook up the cables to the back of the tv and set the channel on "back.? I tried this but cannot find "back" with my remote. I tried resetting the dvd player by pressing down the stop button on the player and holding for 15 seconds with the power on. Thank you

    Purchased DVD collection online. When inserted 1st DVD was told to check region (am in 4) Googled & changed region from 4 to 0 DVD then played along with next 2discs. On inserting 4th disc, it will not play & I cannot eject it! Either with remote or front of player. Screen will go black, with just DVD disc showing in top left corner & display is 00000 with orange DVD disc icon next to it & then [P] next to that,then after several minutes blue screen reappears with load reading in display before we go back to black screen with blue DVD disc in top left corner and 00000 in display. Would appreciate help - even just to get disc out of player! All I can do is turn off machine.

I have the same model player it pauses some of the times on some disks in some locations, I read at videohelp.com a resolution for this for skip frames for those who use PAL and mine skip frames after pausing though I have not tried PAL perhaps this remote code solution might fix this or some have had firmware updates though I could not find any firmware updates as any solution by CyberHome being this happens only happens some of the time it might not be possible to resolve this and taking it to a repair shop likely would not be worth it I am unsure if some software versions helps this Please let me know what you find out, okay?
