Question about Canon Wordtank V80

1 Answer

Battery Issue Recently, when I put in new batteries, the V80 seems to use them up completely after as few as one use after being turned off. When I enter a new set of batteries, it works again, but it does the same thing again.

Try using alkaline batteries - they last longer. Are you still having the same problem now?

Will a bad battery cause drive ability issues and low sponge brake pedal feel ?

What exactly was the 'drivability' issue? The brake job will have dealt with the spongey brake problem. The bad battery, depending on how bad it was, can cause issues with the engine electronics so putting a new one can do the vehicle a lot of benefit.

Battery Draining overnight

seems like you have a parasitic draw on your electrical system which means when your car is turned off there is something in your vehicle that is still on and running your battery down over night . it could be something as simple as a stuck power seat switch, but sadly alot of the likely causes are aftermarket remote start issues caused by improper installation and same goes for aftermarket radios. or it could be a wire issue were a hot wire is powering a normally off circuit..these issues are quite hard to diagnosis over the net and is best to take it to a shop! i hope this helps

A red light indicates not enough power for turn on, the battery is either completely depleted or dead. If the light does not change to amber after a few minutes of charge, the battery needs to be replaced with a new one.

My mifi XM2go radio will not turn on. I have

Sounds like a bad battery. Try plugging DC adapter directly into the bottom of the unit and turn it on - does it still act-up? If so, bad radio; if it works with adapter only, then battery and charging issue.

New battery in my 2+ year old E2.

its a good possibility that you could have received a bad battery or maybe even over charged the device. I would consider returning the battery for another and if problem still exist you should consult Palm about the nature of your problem

Battery Draining from Intermittent Problem on Acura Legend GS

It sounds like a battery issue. I would take it to an Autozone if you have one. they have a few high tech gadgets for batteries. But if its drained after only a week of no use. I would say it is the Battery. Unless you were having this issue before you took it in.

Kodak EasyShare Z760 won't charge.

The problem might be that the battery has developed memory and won't charge further. My first battery used to do that, but then I read that you shouldn't leave the camera on the dock all the time nor keep the battery fully charged all the time because of the problem of developing memory. You might try running the battery completely down by taking pictures until it shuts down. Sometimes when my battery is low the dock won't charge (but goes straight to the red light), but when I run it completely down when I put it on the dock it charges properly. I hope this information helps. :-)

Blackjack cell phone AT&T won't charge or turn on

Go back to AT&T, or find somebody else who has a Blackjack II and put thier battery in the phone to see if this 'jump starts' it. I have had the same problem now 3 times. There seems to be a consistent issue with Blackjacks just not charging after a while, then the battery runs down and you can't turn the phone on again. 1st time AT&T put a new battery in mine and it turned straight on! 3 weeks later it happend again and they gave me a new phone AND another new battery. 3 weeks later the same thing has happened again with thenew phone. Never seen this happen with any other phone model.
