Of course it worth to change the belt, is more cheap then a new washing maschine.
After 7 years of usage my Samsung washing machine was doing same problem. I change the belt with a new one about 3 years ago, and it's working fine.

The "oL" error code in the Cabrio and Bravo washers means the motor is sensing an overload ("oL") condition. While this could indicate a problem with the motor, it usually doesn't. Most of the time, you'll see this error code when one of two things is going on:

1) There's a piece of clothing stuck between the inner basket and outer tub.

2) The tub is not floating freely, usually because it's seized to the drive shaft by rust and crudus; FYI: this condition is almost always caused by using non-HE detergent in this washer. Also, be aware that, if this is the case, it can be very difficult to remove the basket from a badly corroded drive shaft, could even be a two-man job.

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the washer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. It's been about 55 years since I had experience with front load washers. However I can refer you to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good and complete trouble shooting and repair information on front loaders. I think you'll find what you need there. anything to me. I believe you have a bad lid switch. If you google clothes washer repair, you'll be amazed at the amount of help there. There are a couple of you tube videos there on direct drive washer repair. They are detailed step by step tutorials on opening the washer and determining the problem and fixing it.If this helps you, please rate my help on fixya.

when the washing maschine is switched on all the lights are flashing,...you can´t switch that on or off,..you have to unpluged the maschine,...we are unable to wash any clothes

There is a recall for this. Contact whirlpool @ 1-800-253-1301 and have your model/serial number ready. Tell them you have been getting the F1 code error on the Cabrio. Tell them you have been reading on the internet about a recall. They may tell you there is no recall but be persisitent. They will then tell you they will make repairs "as a courtesy". Make sure they are going to cover parts and labor. They will then schedule someone to come out and inspect the washer. When they come out ask them about a updated washer plate. The guy who came out for mine also got me a new wash plate. He said that the new plate helps the clothes from "balling" up.

AFTER 15 YEARS AND THREE repairs.
I threw mine in the trash and bought a Speed Queen Commercial grade washer and thats the last one I will ever by!
8 loads a week for 25 years!!!!!!!

The washers and dryers today use so much less water,electricity,and detergent that they pay for them selves after a only a few years.
My advise is, do not put good money into a washer that is 20 years old! it is cheaper to buy, run, and operate a new efficient machine! You will see you water and electric bill reduced!!!!!!!!!
Speed Queen commercial grade top loader uses only 34 gallon of water compared to the others at 48-54 gallons!
Their front load washer uses, (GET THIS) ONLY 13.9 GALLONS of water and washes in 35 minutes and the clothes are cleaner and last longer cause it uses water agitation instead of a vain to wear out your clothes! How about spinning at 750 RPM and the clothes come out so dry they are only in the dryer half the time than all the other machines! Thus half the gas or electric bill!!
All my employees have replaced their laundry pairs with Speed Queen!
My Guys call it the, "No Brainer Machine!"

I have a brand new front loader that never fill with water but shows F20. How can I get this machine to wash clothes?

Thank you so much for posting your solution of the F02 error code. I was having the same problem and noticed that my clothes smelled like mold and I didn't understand why. Anyway, my husband "cleaned the filter". He found four socks.
Awhile back, I noticed that I was missing a lot of socks. One day I pulled the gray flap in the washer and found around 15 socks! I now check that flap after every wash.

Again, thanks for posting your solution. It was an easy fix and it saved us $$.
