Is your hot water set at 140? You also might have hard water, try using the Gel tablets. Good Luck

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher Type 583-1 Model WDT720PADM2. It is suddenly not washing or drying well. Leaving bits of food and layer of film on dishes/glasses. Soap is sometimes not dissolved.Help!

Assuming the machine fills and drains water ok, and is heating the water too, and you can hear the circulation pump running during the wash, the most likely problem is blocked jets in the spray arms. You have to remember that a dishwasher is NOT a garbage disposal unit, and plates must be scraped clean before they are put into the machine for a wash. Bits of uneaten food in the machine will clog the filters, coat the walls of the machine and work their way into the spray arm jets especially at the very ends. These end jets are the only reason the jets rotate, and if blocked the arm just sits still and poor washing results. Remove and / or examine the ends of the spray arms carefully - often fruit pips or pasta can be seen blocking the jets. Remove this with a pin and running water. Also then run a dishwasher cleaner through the machine, with No load in - do this regularly to reduce blockages and smells.
spray arms can be taken to pieces in most cases to clear blockages. Always use a top quality detergent in the wash for best results.

Kawasaki zx9r ninja e1 spluttering at low speed but ok at top end

Hi Shaun, This could be caused by several things, but the most common cause is also probably the most common problem with carbureted bikes in general, and that is one or more clogged idle jets. Any time a bike isn't put away properly for the winter, it runs the risk of stale gas drying up and clogging the idle jets. The good thing is, this is a pretty easy fix, but it entails pulling the carbs, then taking the bowls off and squirting carb cleaner through the jet to dissolve the clog. In a worst case scenario a very fine wire can be run through the jet to clear it. To save yourself some time, let the bike idle then see which cylinder isn't firing by squirting water on each exhaust to find the cold one (or ones).

Epson Workforce 610 blocked (or malfunctioning) nozzles

With epsom ink jet printers the printhead is on the machine, not he cartridge as with many printers. This complicates things!
I suggest you get some cleaner cartridges put them in and run one single cleaning cycle each day until the cartridge is finished. Remember just One cleaning each day,,, this is to allow time for the cleaner to sit and "possibly" dissolve the blockage.
It is about your only chance of salvage.
An Ink jet printers worst enemy is sitting for long periods of time without printing on a regular basis, The ink dries in the print head nozzle!

We use our jacuzzi once every two weeks. Every time we get small black particles of debris of some sort that sticks to the side of the tub. What is the problem?

the problem is bacteria building up in the water lines once the water dries. You should be using a jet cleaning product to clean the water lines out before they dry.

We have several different good cleaners on our site that all work well at keeping bacteria out of your water lines.
You can click on the link below and it will show you what is available.

We have put jet dry and changed soaps but it always leaves a white film on the dishes! No other appliances have problems with this in the house.

Thanks for your question. You may have a couple of problems, first if you are using jet dry it is a surfactant. Which means that it places a small amount of a chemical on you dishes to keep them from spotting. If your dishwasher is releasing to much this will cause a white coating on dishes. In the loading area for you jet dry or liquid spot rinse there should be a knob that is marked from 1-5 or so. First turn this dial all the way down to 1. This will reduce the amount of jet dry released. Then monitor the amount of jet dry that you are going through. You should be able to get about 60 loads from a small bottle of jet dry. The other problem may be that you have washed a item that was not dishwasher safe, like a plastic bowl or such. Some of these items will leech the pigment into your dishwasher and then onto you dishes.
I might suggest that you purchase some dishwasher cleaner from you local Store. Walmart and most box stores carry this in the same section that you purchase your detergent. You will need to empty the dishwasher, following the instructions on the cleaner insert into your dishwasher. Then run it through a complete cycle. After attempting these items please let me know if you still have an issue, but I am almost certain that you will have corrected the problem. Thanks D.R. Wilkins

I have a Yamaha TTR 125 L appprox. 2000. Previous owner not sure on year. My Dad has clean the carb twice and clean everything he can with the air hose. Drained gas and put new in. Pretty much everything...

I would remove the carb and then the float bowl, jets and fittings and soak the carb and parts in de-natured alcohol for an hour. The alcohol will dissolve varnish buildup from dried fuel. Have a thin wire on hand to aid in clearing fuel circuits in the carb body. The wire on a service tag such a used on Stihl chainsaws works well. Now use a spray carb cleaner to spray into every fitting and hole in the carb body. Spray into both ends of each circuit. Wear gloves and goggles. Done properly, this and a new spark plug should do the trick.

Starting problems

Sounds like jets are plugged in carb. Take off carb and take apart and spray with carb cleaner. Use jet tools and clean out jets, spray with cleaner real good then put back together. You may need to get a carb kit if gaskets are dry rotted.

Help! My dishwasher doesn't rinse soap off my dishes anymore

try a few applications of jet dry DISHWASHER cleaner to remove excessive build up of calcium/hard water deposits...sounds like the water temperature is too low upon the initial fill cycle to assist in dissolving the soap.the water temp. must 125 degrees to insure soap activation/ and dissolve it.check for obstructed spray arm as well

Got spark but wont go what do i do

Has it been sitting for a while? If so, remove the bowls of the carburetors, and clean out the jets using carburetor cleaner and a set welding tip cleaners (welding tip set available at hardware stores). Also, add Berryman's B-12 to the tank to help dissolve any varnish build-up.

Vstar 650 classic. only will idle.

hello and welcome
this is a very very commom problem after the cycle has gone over a storage period of anything over a month or so. what has happened is the deteriorated fuel has plugged the idle jet, and possibley other jetting. this is verified by pulling out the choke allows it to run. because this makes of for the loss of fuel the jets are not produceing. so to fix this you will need to remove the carbs and take out the jets and clean them thoroughly with a carb cleaner and possibly a very small gauge wire to break up builup. especially in the pilot jet. unfortunately fuel added carb cleaners dont seem to work for this kind of problem and to fix right they should be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly. thank you.
