Check under the drum, if there is excess toner there it is most likely coming from the drum unit or the cleaning unit, this is a unit that is on the drum and is supposed to remove any excess toner and dump it into a waste container. it may be full or blocked

SOURCE: Toner Dumping in machine

Do you have a shop vac with a hose on it? Turn the copier OFF and UNPLUG it from the WALL and use the vac to do all the lose toner & use a brush to get into the cracks and hard to reach areas. The blotches are most likely coming from the paper path, make sure you clean the whole paper path and run some blanks pages in the copier to clear up any left over... Good Luck

Error e000019-0000 how to solve

Hi there,
on copiers like iR22/28/3300, E019 means that there is waste toner full.

On leftsideway of copier in lower left section, is cover with one scre. Remove cover and pull the bottle out. Dump out the waste toner, clean bottle and most important the neck of bottle, because on that two small circles on neck copier reads the amount of waste toner.
Error could arrise eaven if the neck is only dirty.

Permanent solution is to disconnect the connector above waste toner box. But be sure to clean the bottle every 50000-70000 copies.

Hope that helped.

THERE ARE LARGE STREAKS OF INK ON ALL COPIES AND

The green roller is the drum which has a cleaning blade to remove excess toner, when the drum gets older it becomes clogged and will dump toner back out onto the drum. Just some info on it. Best fix is replace the drum, you could take it apart and attempt to dump and clean it but it's rarely worth doing that.

Sharp Copier AR-M355N developer change is after 100,000 copies. We were at 95,000 copies and copies were becoming light and the developer done to 1/4. We were told somebody dump the developer because it...

The developer stays in the machine in the developer unit. It is SUPPOSE to stay in the unit and the level doesn't go up or down. It just looses some of its magnetic property therefore needs to be changed. I have NO idea about dumping developer, if so...SOMEONE doesn't know what they are doing.

How do I change the waste toner bottle?

The waist sump is in the Drum Unit.
If the messege says to replace sump unit, either the drum unit has to be replace(Copy Cartrige) or, if you wish to do this,
remove the copy cartridge and remove the front black cover with the small rectangular metal cover. I beleive they are 3 - 5.5 mm black bolts.
On the back there is a black knob that has to be rotated, to swing the drum out. On the front there is a brass spacer that has to be removed.
Pull it off and pull out the drum. the top of the drum has to come off and the bottle comes out. Vacume out the toner into a waist bag, or dump the toner in a plastic bag. its your choice.
If not buy a new drum unit.
The machine needs to be reset in the maintaince area of the menu.if you cannot find it, the machine will come up with the replace waist sump.
You will need to find this, or call Xerox to have a service repair person enter diagnostics to remove it from the machine.

Dev. Change Process

1. Check that Dev. unit has the lastest seals.
2. replace dev. material.
3. Dump dev.
4. add new dev. material.
5. Hand rotate the dev. unit 10 times.
6. reinstall the dev. unit into machine.
7. cover the toner inlet opening with a piece of paper
8. insert PCU unit.
9. turn the machine on.
10. When machine reaches ready -- enter SP modes and perform SP-2801 (2 times)
11. open the right cover of the machine. Cheat the right cover switch. Examine the drum as it rotates. Afew bands of toner and the ID pattern will be developed on the drum. The drum should be clean -- a slight dusting on the drum is OK.
12. Perform SP-3001 -- ID sensor initial setting.
13. ** Important** remove the PCU unit. Empty the toner from the PCU by sliding the shutter on the bottom of the PCU to the side and tapping the PCU.
14. reinstall the PCU.
15. Run test copies.

Pls rate -- thank you

Dark edges

It depends... never use a Reman cart in these machines... only use sharp...especially if the machine is under warranty.

Does this happen when,
Using the Doc Feeder
When making copies from the Glass
Or when you print from a computer (assuming you print from a PC)

If you print something and this happens then it is inside the machine
Probably toner or developer dumping...

Take a few pieces of large white paper and cover the entire glass surface... make a copy is the line there? If so see the answer above... if not then close the top and make a copy with no paper on the glass... is that black line there.. If so then your top needs adjustment...

One more test
If you make a copy using the doc feeder, this black line only occurs when making copies with the doc feed, clean the **** glass, and try again...
