Disconnect from mains not that easy first time. undo clip holding seal to cabinet. peel off seal and push inside drum remove top.i remember seal is held to tub by a giant jubilee clip but varies with model. undo clip and remove seal complete. fitting is more difficult lubricate slot that fits flange of tub with washing-up fluid - essential start at top fit an inch or so of slot onto tub flange. work in both directions forcing slot onto flange with thumbs as you go round. refit giant jubilee clip. refit seal to cabinet and refit cabinet clamp. test for leaks on rinse as water level is higher. this job is a knack so persevere

i think your talking about the rubber door seal????
you can change this yourself,,,under the seal on the case is a wire spring unhook it and the door seal will fold inside the washer,,,on the inner drum you will find the other wire spring undo this as well and pull the old door seal out through the hole in the door,,,the new seal is fitted to the iner drun first so you need to turn the new seal inside out to fit it,,,push the seal into the washer and fit the inner wire first then unfold the seal and fit it over the outer door so you can fit the wire spring,,,
easy after you have fitted a fuw 100?

ICE DOOR SEAL IS LOOSE AND NOT SEALING CAUSING FROST BUILDUP

Hello,

This is the step you will use to repair your ice door seal that is loose.

There are screws under the fold of the freezer door gasket that holds the brace for the gasket in place. Lift the rubber gasket to expose the screw head, one section at a time. Just loosen the screw, and do not take it completely out.

As you loosen the screws, one section at a time, carefully remove the old gasket. At the same time, fit the new gasket into the groove. Make sure your new gasket is lined up properly.

Continue around the freezer door, unloosening the screw, taking out the old gasket and fitting the new one in.

Tighten the screws into place. This may have to be done once the entire gasket is fitted into place.

Check the seal by closing the door. You should have a nice, tight seal.

Good luck.

How can I fit a bottom door seal on a Brandt dishwasher please. My dishwasher is leaking but the door seal and gaskets are intact although the sealant which held the gaskets in place has disintegrated....

    Hello,
If the bottom seal is definitely worn then it is quite a simple job.The seal is just pushed into a groove at the bottom of the door,as you pull the old one out be very careful as the edge of the groove is like a knife edge, the new seal will push in gently starting from one end and keep pushing into the groove try not to stretch the seal in length.Another thing to check first is check the bottom spray arm for splits on the edges as this could be directing the water onto the door,if there are splits then the arm will need replacing.

    Hope this helps.

Replaced door seal now door is difficult to close.

Sometimes, it is hard to close door after fitting a new seal.
Make sure you have got it fitted correctly round the flange on the front of the cabinet, and that the retaining clamp is securely fastened.
Try smearing the door glass with washing up liquid, this can help to close the door more easily

there is no need to remove the side to replace the door seal, just behind the door seal there is a spring clip undo this and fold the seal into the drum were you should see another spring clip undo that as well and the door seal comes out from the front through the hole in the door, to refit a new fold the seal till its inside out and fitted on the inner drum first fit the inner clip then pull it through the door hole and fit the outer spring clip out side the door
