Ovenman, there's not a complete model number here but in the Kenmore line F7 is the code for a stuck function switch or bad keypad. Makes sense that it's telling you to start the lower oven. Try removing the ribbon cable from the board and cleaning the ends with an eraser. Reseat it and see if the code comes back. Make sure to kill the power before doing this. Catriver..post back.

I wanted to change the time hour. I pushed clock and up arrow at a time and the clock is showing 5 AB. The screen is frozen. I can't use any options. How could I get it back to normal? Thank you for your...

To
provide sabbath feature (or to cancel this setting):
1. Push the PREHEAT pad and set the oven
temperature to 500°F/260°C or more using the UP
ARROW pad.
2. Push the PREHEAT pad within the next 2 seconds
for 3-4 seconds. A beep sounds and a number
appears in red to the right of the display. For the
conversion, "3" must be displayed. If another number
is displayed, push the PREHEAT pad and select
"3".
3. Push the UP or DOWN ARROW pad to change
from 12 hour to 9999 in the display, for no 12 hour
shut-off.
4. Push the CANCEL pad to confirm your choice.

Other Displays:
When proceeding through steps 1 and 2 in the
Temperature Scale Conversion or in the elimination
of the Sabbath feature /12-hour Shut-off time limit,
two other words can be seen in the display. One is ESC
with O in red. It cannot be changed. The other is USE or
SALE with 3 in red. This one is for factory use and should
stay on USE.

Sorry, I have the same oven and the same complaint. The manual doesn't indicate anything. BTW- the service manual is inside the oven frame, between oven "lining" and the outside sheet metal.

Dacor CPO230, can't get lock to engage for self cleaning. I follow step clean symbolcomes up door lock moves into locked position then beeping starts and the word door flashes and the lock opens up.

For some reason the oven thinks you have a door that is not shut all of the way. Check the locking slot to make sure that there are no obstructions. Make sure that you are only doing one oven at a time, and not trying to cook in the other. Make sure you have no racks in the oven. Try pushing lightly on the door when the lock engages. For some reason your lock isn't engaging fully and that's why door is flashing. Good Luck
Below is from the owners manual for your oven.

Oven does not self-clean Door not shut tight Check for obstructions. Close door tightly
Oven set for delay timed cleaning Oven will start to self-clean at preset time.
Press CANCEL/SECURE to return to
normal operation
Double ovens only: Other oven is on. Turn off other oven.

Wall Oven won't work

I tried randomly pushing 2 buttons at a time, and when I pushed "Timer Off/On" and "Cancel" together it unlocked and is now working fine. The following day it beeped a lot for an hour or so (must have been catching up on previous pushes) but now is back to normal.
