Question about Canon PIXMA MP170 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hi people, Can anyone help me; I have recently purchased a new Cannon PIXMA MP170 and I am having problems with its printing. When I print out a word document much of the documents text is cut out and is replaced with brackets and dots (i.e. [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[?,,,,) I have not yet aligned the printer head but when I try the printer displays a error, I am not sure if I am doing this correctly, can anyone offer any help PLEASE????
My printer wont print out anything in black, even though i have just replaced the cartridge, why??

Maybe the USB cable was plugged before the driver has been installed : I noticed this advice in my manual.

hi
try cleaning the terminals of your printer cartridge and your new ink and install it again...
if samething happens try installing again your printer.
if still nothing happens maybe you purchase a deffective ink cartridge...
if that happens you can return it to the shop were you bought it and demand for a replacement cause most of manufacterer have warranties for their products...
