I am brand new to bluetooth and recently purchased a Bluetooth USB Adapter for my Motorola V3 mobile phone, with the intention of downloading some existing graphics on my pc (Windows XP) to my mobile... try as I may, I simply cannot figure out how, even the Bluesoleil menu has me scratching my head!!
Please don't get me wrong, I am not a dummy with computers & have at least figured out the bluetooth earpiece & had the little orange dot in the centre of the Bluesoleil screen searching for devices, but alas, not much else.
I hope to hear from you soon, I really need step by step instruction if you can be bothered.
Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Bluetooth Dongle - personal pics to mobile
Do you have your phone in 'find me' mode and then search again for devices
If you have SP2 then you may not need bluesoleil software and it will just be a case of right clicking on file you want, then click send to to allow the dongle to search for devices.

Hello, motorola phone pc suite or phone tools software no longer works for using net from mobile. It may better to use bluetooth dongle to connect net. Just purchase a bluetooth dongle then install driver n on your phone's bluetooth and connect it with dongle select PAN connection if possible otherwise make dial up connection. This will surely work Hope this will solve your problem...
You need to check whether your PC do have a bluetooth option or not. If not, you need to purchase a Bluetooth dongle. It is Quite cheap. On most of the laptops, you have inbuilt bluetooth. If you have inbuilt, you could turn ON the Computer bluetooth and phone bluetooth and transfer the pics. Unless purchase a dongle as i said above, put the dongle in the USB slot. You need to install Software provided with bluetooth. Double click the icon, select transfer pics and it's all done.
The best solution in my opinion is to purchase something called a bluetooth dongle (sometimes called a bluetooth adapter).
They usually run 25$ to 35$.
Once you have it, you will be able to send information/data back and forth between your PC and any bluetooth enabled device.
easier way to transfer these to comp is via bluethooth.
get a bluetooth dongle from an electronics shop, load it to your comp, pair phone to comp and then simply send via bluetooth from the phone to the comp.
No messy cables and works with all bluetooth phones ( ie not brand specific )
