I cannot find Device Drivers for a Proline M760S Laptop that supports Windows XP Professional. I don't even have the technical specs that might enable me to source the drivers from their respective Manufacturers. If I can get any of these It would make life a lot easier. Proline support seems to be non-existent.
Question about my proline lap top that keeps on shutting down
Just install the software Driver Genius and it will automatically detect and then download your required driver. After completing the download you need to just install it.
Good Luck

This is generally how your format the hard disk and install
Windows.
First you need a Windows XP or Windows Vista installation CD and the product
installation code, which is printed on the Windows label on the bottom of your
laptop.
Boot up with the Windows installation CD start and follow the instructions to
install Windows.
Next Delete the existing Windows partition.
Next Create a new partition.
Next format this new partition - Format the partition in NTFS not a quick
format. This will prepare the Windows for a clean install.
Next create a User(name) and company name (normally Home is all you need).
Further into the installation, you will be required to put in the Installation
code.
During the final stages of installation you need to create
an User or Users that will use this computer.
When you finished installing Windows you need to install the
laptop's device drivers. You need to use a computer with Internet access to
download these drivers from the laptop manufacturer's WEB site and install
these drivers on your laptop.
Next connect a LAN cable to the LAN port from your computer to your DSL or
cable modem and you need to Activate the Windows installation on the Microsoft
WEB site.
Next up need to upgrade Windows from the Microsoft WEB site including Service
pack.
Next you need to install your programs
You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site,
the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,
better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the
bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag
label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,
the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the
specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select
the Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this
link to download the drivers: -

get them from Prolines web site of still in business, that is.
shutting down we remove the big battery first.
and run on AC pack, if that fails
