I can not get my 50 in. syntax olevia to turn back on after it suddenly turned off on its own the other day. I've tried unplugging it and turning it back on but it just flashes red and green lights.I really need help on this.

Sounds like you have projection bulb problems. Not an easy fix as the are 3 color tubes and a complete alignment when replacing even one of the 3 tubes. Takes a lot of work.
I had the same problem with a 437. It just shut off one day and I could never turn it back on again. I called Syntax Brillian and they told me the mother board was probably shot. They sent me a new TV and took the damaged one back.
