Avic-n3 screen will now open

When i press the the open button on my avic-n3 the screen does not come out. How do i fix this?

Avic-n3 to play dvd while in motion
There are a few ways to do this. Most of them involve grounding the e-brake wire and uploading special software. www.avic411.com should have multiple posts that give you step by step directions.

Screen won't open but
THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO FIX THIS, IT IS A HARD PART FAILURE OF THE DISPLAY SCREEN, IT IS CHEAPER TO REPLACE THE GPS THAN FIX IT.

Sounds like you are having a problem with the ribbon cable from the screen to the board .you can find the cable at many places even in Ebay .Usually the price is around $60.00.
