Question about Durabrand DWT2405 24" TV

Remote control Have lost remote control that came with Duraband BH2004D, Manufacturer's date April 2005. Cannot locate a universal remote that is compatible. WalMart has tried to help with programing the one they consider most likely, but with no good outcome. Instructions in the booklet have been followed explicitly. Please let me know where to turn or better yet, please send me a new remote control to match this TV.

    I lost my remote and tried to order 1 from the company before Christmas so my daughter could play with her video game. One customer service rep told me the would have some in the following week. I called back and they told me they wouldnt have any untill late January. I NEED THE REMOTE TO GET THE VIDEO/GAME CHANNELL. Universal remote wont work.

HI I would suggest getting this universal remote, it is a Phillips Universal Digital 5 device remote, I have yet to find any device this remote will not operate, it is simply outstanding! it is a Model PHDVD5, and WalMart should have it, not too expensive but its worth its weight in gold! just follow the instructions in the manual for "Programing with Code Search" Page #12, goodluck:)

I have been searching for a remote for this TV(Durabrand bh2004d) and found one that works. The X10 Platinum Model UR73A 5in1 remote. Best thing since sliced bread. I tried this remote out of desparation when all others would not work. I picked one up on ebay for about $10 including shipping. This remote has worked for changing the video mode(A-B).and all functions and also controls my directv box, so it will be the only one that I will need. Hoped this helped

Durabrand model BH2004D
I am not sure about Direct TV but dish network does not allow the hookup to go through their box...it must go through the TV only. Speaking with Duraband at 1-800-256-2487 confirms you have to have a Duraband remote and universals won't program to it. Ask for parts dept. and order a new remote. Sorry - not good news for me either!!!
