How do i take full advantage of my screen on internet explorer and aol?

I'm guessing you are trying to change to fullscreen mode, press F11 while in internet explorer and it will enter fullscreen mode. Press F11 again to return to normal.

Ho to view full screen in Samsungm200 while playing

If you set the guest monitor to a resolution higher than the machine supports, full screen switch mode does not work properly in the full screen player (vmware-fullscreen.exe). In some cases this can cause the guest operating system to hang.
This problem occur only in vmware-fullscreen.exe. The problem does not occur when you set a virtual machine to full screen view in the Workstation user interface you see a message advising you to reduce your guest's resolution or color depth and try again.

I am getting a smaller picture on my Toshiba L450-181 and TV when i connect via a VGA lead (picture is square)

Have you installed the video driver which came with your computer.
If yes, goto to settings of your graphics card (icon appearing in the task bar) click display settings and then select your monitor (one will be Notebook and other will be name something else) try all of the screen resolutions available for the monitor. One of them would work perfectly. If that doesn't work there will be a button of aspect ratio options in the display settings set it to fullscreen (no border)
Hope this helps

Monitor doesnt have fullscreen when connected to macbook

Either your Netbook cannot support that particular display,

or, more likeley, you need to adjust the resolution on the monitor to match the settings on your macbook.

Picture is not centered on monitor leaving a 2 1/2" black border on Philips LCD

I have a Philips 30 inch LCD and solved the problem by using the circular arrow button on the TV remote. Pointing it at the TV and clicking "right" (3 o'clock on the button), the picture moved right. Same thing on for "left". Worked for me.
