Click here to find a lamp for your TV and use the housing from the broken lamp or you can buy the lamp that comes with the housing from this website.
If you have the user's guide, the instructions on how to replace the lamp can be found on page # 67. Here is the user's guide if you do not have it.

Good Luck.

Which bulb for panasonic NNSD446W microwave - really struggling to find exact code for lamp i need as replacement

Purchase a replacement lamp from somewhere like espares or the like.
It should be a standard E17 or SES 20Watt bulb.

I have a Panasonic 42"/46"/50" Class 1080p Plasma

This usually is a result of a failing power supply or any of the SOS circuit boards. Power supply's and boards are expensive to replace and in most cases not worth the cost to have repaired if you are out of warranty. However this is a known issue for Panasonic and I have seem them repair your model sets at no cost. So it is worth giving Panasonic a call and see if they will fix this for you. If they agree to fix it they will send a tech to your home for repairs.

I had been getting the bulb life low message so after it went completly went out i replaced the bulb. my tv was absolutely fine before now it has a red haze on the top of the screen and it was not staying...

Power supply for a red haze problem? Doesn't sound like a powersupply issue. If its a red haze that Im thinking aobut, you might as well buy a new set. It'll be a little too costly to fix.

When it was shutting down, what was the red light blinking before it paused then repeated?

I heard a pop in the TV and then the screen went red. I can still hear it and watch it but everything is red. Is it a bulb that needs replacing? If not, what is it? Can I do it myself or will I have to...

Several failures can cause a red picture but it sounds like if you are connected from the source with component video cables(red, blue, green)you may just have a bad cable, but you may have had a blue and/ or green projection gun failure, which would cause the red gun to over power the other colors(blue/green), if this is the case definently not worth the cost to repair, you have to replace all three guns at the same time costing $500+ to repair, invest that towards a nice new LCD panel TV. Good luck !

Think this is worth fixing?

trust ME when i say setting convergence after doing repair takes alot of time to do /you can damage set if you do not have service codes and values/ you also must have the hand unit that comes with set in order to even get into convergence circuit, call your repair shops ask if they have a good blue tube for set and how much would it cost to repair?ARE you sure blue tube has been removed from set.?

Panasonic model# PT-50LC13

It very well could be the ballast. I unfortunately have this tv and keep extra bulbs because they go out about once a year. Last time when I replaced the bulb the tv blinked and the red lamp light flashed like it does when the bulb is bad. Ballast repair kit fixed it up. This is certainly a design issue but you'll get no help from Panasonic. If tv comes on the goes out after a while, clean the fan filter.
