Question about Jensen VM9020TS Car DVD Player

Volume resets to 26 every time unit powers on

Every time I start the vehicle or power on with the key, the unit goes to a volume setting of 26. It does not remember my last setting and resume it like every other stereo I've owned. Does not matter what mode it is in, (dvd, sd card, cd, radio). I just purchased this from Circuit City as an open box unit and didn't get a manual so I'm struggling a little in getting up to speed.

You can change the start-up volume level by doing the following: 1. Turn the volume onto the desired level 2. Before the yellow volume meter disappears, hold the audio for two seconds and you should hear a beep. 3. Check it by turning off the car and turning it back on again P.S. - You can download the manual from audiovox.com

How to reset a windows phone

Try these fixes if, for example, your phone randomly reboots, freezes or does not switch on, if an app crashes, if you have sound problems, or if the screen is blank:

1. Restart your phone.
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys simultaneously for 10-15 seconds. Release and the phone will restart. After this operation, you may need to set the date and time on the phone.
soft-reset-30.png
If the problem persists, reset and restore your phone as instructed below.

2. Reset and restore your phone.
Important:
  • This erases all personal content on your phone and restores the factory settings.
  • Before continue with the reset, make sure your phone's battery level is above 50%. To check the remaining battery life, go to Settings > battery saver. If you are not able to check it, or the level is too low, charge your phone for at least 20 minutes.
Reset your phone by using the built-in option in the phone settings. Select Settings > About > Reset your phone.
However, if you cannot access the phone settings, follow the steps below:
a. Disconnect the charger. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys simultaneously. Release the pressed keys when phone vibrates and then immediately press and hold the volume down button until the phone displays an exclamation mark (!) on the screen. Release the volume down key.

d. Go through the initial phone setup. Make sure that you have the date and time set correctly on your phone (Settings > date+time).
