Printer error hp 2175 printer. Each time I try to print something off I get a high pitched squeeking sound and the message on screen tells me that the printer door is open (as far as I can tell it is not) and then I get a message saying cartrige has stalled. The cartrige does not seem to move when printing is attempted

Sounds like a gear or the belt has stripped. Really not worth repairing unless it is under warranty. Call HP for an exchange.
