You can purchase a device to turn your MFC into a wireless device. There are devices that can connect to the parallel port or USB port or the network port. The device itself then has an antenna that sends the signal onto the wireless network. I use a Linksys Wireless-G Access Point that attaches to my 8840DN network port. I can then set the MFC anywhere in the house.
