JVC KD-G310 I had this cd player in my 1989 s-10 and it worked fine. I reinstalled it in a 1995 Chevy Blazer. Now it is scratching the tops of the cd's.

did you ever figure this out? i just replaced a broken KS-U58 cable on my JVC KD-G310 and now i can't get it to switch to EXT. everything else on my stereo (CD, radio) works fine.
Press and hold SEL until menu appears Using the scan button (FWD/REV), select Clock H Using the volume knob, set the value Using the scan button (FWD/REV), select Clock M Using the volume knob, set the value Press SEL to save and exit
Push in the select button and hold it for 3 seconds. scroll through the list using your next button for the radio on the bottom right hand corner. once it says Clock H you can turn the volume knob to set the hour. hit the next button again and it should say Clock M for minute and use the knob again.
Press and hold the 'select' button until a menu displays. Use track forward to cycle through the menu and the volume knob to cycle through options of each menu. You will find 'Clock H' and 'Clock M'...set accordingly.
