Paper jam in p8ex

The Xerox p8ex transports the paper for about 2 inches and then stops. The problem started when I cleaned the printer. I have taken some obvious parts out of the printer to remove the dust and toner from the unreachable spots. I have also tried cleaning the excentrical rubber roll that collects the paper from the tray by turning it. When I put everything together again and inserted a brand new toner cartridge, the printer seemed to be working properly, but when I tried to print a page it stopped after 2 inches. It doesn't transport the paper any further. Before I start to order spare parts randomly, I would like to know if there is anything I can to to repair it. And if not, which part should I replace? Thanks in advance.

SOURCE: Frequent paper jams on Xerox PE220

You have to spin them backward to get them into a good position to clean them, They will resist you, but just take it slow and clean them with alcohol or formula 409 type cleaner.
But what will often cause jams on that machine is the seperation pad that is located on the paper tray itself. It will get very slick and allow 2 or more pieces of paper to feed, It is a small gray to black pad on the middle front of the tray, about 1/4 inch wide and and inch or so long, If it is smoothe scuff it with some scotch brite then order one or two.
Google a business called "the parts drop" and call Britt, they should have the pads and rollers at a fair price.

Automatic feed does not work

The wheels that are supposed to grab the paper might be dirty or broken, the reason can also be that the sensor that should see the paper doesnt work for some reason.

Paper jam in a Xerox Comy Centre C20

A couple of things.
There is a bushing at the front of the exit transport that fall out of the frame. That requires removing the scanner and looking in the exit transport that way.
You may also have something stuck in that transport. Take the fuser back out and then take a minella folder and push it through from above the fuser to the output area and see if it disloges anything. If not, then you have to pull the scanner off and look in that exit transport area for problems.

Those coded normally are related to something not being seated properly in the paper transport in the fuser area.

Xerox M15i paper gets jammed above the fuser "paper jam 2" fuser is hot but i think its supposed to be. Almost every sheet gets jammed.

Yes it is supposed to be hot. Let is sit off for an hour.
Open the right side as if you were removing a jam. You will see 4 silver phillips screws. Remove them, unplug the fuser and slide it out. I think you will find either a paper folded up in the fuser or in the paper path just past the fuser.
The fuser itself probably needs rebuilt or replaced.

Cleared paper jam, but printer not responding

Did you shut power when removing the jammed paper. If you did not then you have forced the gears against the rotation and may have hurt the transport system

Paper jam related to Maintenance Kit

I wonder if you got some of the silicon lubricant from the maintenance kit on the rollers.
Try taking some alcohol or a cleaner such as fantastic, 409 etc and throughly clean all the rollers in the paper tray and along that transport behind the door.
If it isn't getting out of the tray you may coincidently have a smoothe feed roller, if it is feedinf a couple of inches out of the tray and stopping in the lower rollers I suspect a slipping registration clutch. Removing the maintenance kit seems like an odd thing to start a jamming problem. As I said clean the rollers, I guess see if you happened to have gotten a chunk of ink in the paper path from the catch tray.
Is there any damage to the paper? And tears or dents in the page?
Let me know we can resolve the problem.
