Question about Haier HWR08XC7 Air Conditioner
After a rainy day, the ac stopped on its own and displayed an E1 error. I ignored it and the ac turned on again, but soon after displayed the E1 error. The E1 error went away and worked, but blew warm air instead of cold, so I cleaned the filter. I have the ac on cool and the temp is set at 61. A few hours later, I decided to look online to troubleshoot the problem and unplugged the ac, but when I plugged it back in, the E1 error showed again and I couldn't do anything. I used the remote and and it worked again, but only blew warm air. The temperature that is displayed is stuck on 82 degrees, and just went up to 83, but then back to 82. I don't know what to do and it's really warm. Please help.

The E1 code is an error code that appears on the LED temperature display of some digital air conditioners. The error code could mean anything from dirty air filters to a damaged room thermistor, a safety connected to your thermostat that detects room temperature. Troubleshooting the cause of this error code may improve your air conditioner's performance
