I would prefer a direct step by step reply to my problem as manuals do not provide the answer to this specfic product problem ie deleting initial safety instructions and setting language for English(AUS)which provides kms/metres instead of pommie accent miles / yards and terminology which is for UK. Gentlemen for the fee you charge I would have expected better service.

    Dear Sirs,
I have persevered and managed to find English AUS but still find safety message annoying on start up. Anyway this can be deleted? Also how do you delete addresses under favourites and what is the function of the reset switch on top of the unit? Regards, Tim Embleton-Smith

Safety message: We live in a litiginous world and the manufacturers don't want to be sued if you make the wrong turn and drive into a lake. Or run into a 'roo and total your car while using their GPS. About the space. Look for a short line on a key to the bottom  right of the keyboard, probably last character on the right. That will be your space. Press it and the cursor and will move to the right. It may also look like a carat punctuation mark. As far as KMs goes, only the U.S. and a bananna republic in Africa still uses miles. It's in their somewhere, mate.

I cant get past the safety agreement it looks like its loading then it goes back to the safety agreement.

Your problem is in the firware. If you can, try to update your firware; if not the unit will need service.

Navman on start up will not complete boot up.

Mine was doing the same. Navman advised me to hook up to the computer and access the unit in my computer,
find my documents on the navman and delete the logs. Worked for me. However now I have another problem and Navman don't know who to fix it.

Navman S50

My Navman S50 has been working fine the other day it decided to show me the safety agreement when switched on then shows half the screen black with navman S50 printed in the black section the other half shows a picture of a pretty womans face looking backwards from a car window. I can get to the main menu and then takes me in a circle back to the safety agreement I've tried resetting by holding the on off switch down for 6 seconds when switching off the device is there any other way to reset my navman S50.
