Viewing the screen in bright sun is a problem for 99% of point and shoot cameras. 1% still have an optical viewfinder you can look through to frame the picture. Also, looking at the screen with polarized sun glasses makes the problem worse. There's no solution except to upgrade to a DSLR camera.
If you have a PictBridge-compatible printer, you can simply connect the camera to the printer using the USB cable.
Alternatively, you can copy pictures from the internal memory to a memory card. Press the Review button, then press the Menu button. Press up/down to highlight Copy, then press OK. Continue on to select your desired options.

LCD cameras eat batteries... i bought dollar store batteries for one of my cameras once.... one picture per set of batteries... I recommend you purchase a good set of rechargable batteries and a charger. I actually have two sets ... one in the camera one charging. Now on to the lcd screen... you need to look thru the menu for that camera to see if the setting for the screen is off. On one of my cameras the screen is actually defective... which in some ways is good as it less of a drain on the batteries... incidentally it is a kodak as well.
