Question about Durabrand DWT1905 TV

1 Answer

Durabrand 19" - Green color

Tonight I was moving my television. It was plugged in, but turned off. I saw a flash, heard a pop. Now I only have blue, green, white, and black colors. With this kind of television, is there a way for me to fix it? And if so, is fixing it going to be more expensive than just getting a new television? Thanks for your help.

Black and white picture with red lines vibrating with sound.

More info would be nice. Are you using HDMI or Component cables. If it is component cables (red, blue, green for video white and red for audio) Check your red and blue connection. Green alone will give you a black and white picture.
If you are using an HDMI cable, replace the cable to see if this changes anything or if you have another tv swap cables to see if problem stays with tv or moves to another tv.

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixelation ,black and white picture, even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. Have a blessed one!
