Problems with my Micro SD Card

I bought a 2GB Micro SD Card yesterday, and, when i tested it in my v3i device, it simply didn't work...latter i would realize that my cellphone only accepted cards of 1GB at the best, and NO more than that. So, i wanna know: there is some software atualization to make my device accept cards of more than 1GB? PS - Sorry for my poor that i'm Brazilian and my native language is Portuguese. Thanks

Sorry if your v3i only supports a 1GB micro sd card that's just the max no more than that.

The phone came with a 2GB microSD card however i've just bought an 8GB one to expand storage on the phone. i cant seem to remove the 2GB SD card. How do i remove it so i can put the new SD card in?

To remove the micro SD card push the micro SD card in further, it will click and then pop out.
To insert the new micro SD card insert it into the phone and push it in until it clicks in.

I tried installing a 2GB in my C330 but not even with an expert's help from Walmart. Then I chatted with 2 people from Kodak & they say I can only use 1GB on this type of camera. Where can I locate...

I'm really surprised by this because there's no indication in the manual that a 2Gb won't work, it simply says that it takes a "SD card" and the SD specification goes up to 2Gb. (Even rare 4Gb cards are available, they meet the electrical requirements, but are not authorised by the written specification.) So if you had asked me on this site, the best advice I would have given you is that a 2Gb SD card would work. Thumbs down to Kodak for not giving this information!!!

Anyway, to answer your question, they probably don't make 1Gb cards any more. If you want to buy one, your best bet is some kind of clearance or bargain store. Alternatively, ask amongst your friends to see if anyone has one! So many people have cameras these days, perhaps you can find someone who would be glad to swap their 1Gb card for a 2Gb card, for example.

Another 'solution' would be to find a micro SD card for a cellphone. If you could find one on sale that came with an adapter, there's no reason why you shouldn't use a micro SD card with its adapter in your camera.

Micro SD card

sharp, you have to format the SD through your phone and then copy the music to the folder provided by the phone for the music. make sure you check the playing / bitrate / file type of audio file that the phone is limited to play.

if you have other questions just lemme know

Computer is not reading my Micro SD, but phone is reading..

What size is the SD card in GBs? If it is larger than 2GB (4 or 8) do you have a SDHC card reader?
Also try formating the card first in the phone and then using it. Using it straight out of the package, while able to be written, my have difficultly with other devices reading the data.

Large sd micro cards than originally intended?

soda monster, first of all wuz up man? the answer is yes, i had a razor v3i pretty much same thing to urs, and i installed a 2gb micro sd and it worked, and later i replaced it with a 4 gb card and it worked too. but sometimes when u have to many songs and pictures the phone will become slow and at times freezes ur phone too much, u will have to remove the battery and turn it back on, thats the only bad part , so a 2gb micro sd is recommended.
