None cooling 10PJA2501 Weatherking

I had a house built in 2003 and every year since the summer of 2003 we have had to get Freon put into the system and also have been told that the Compressor is bad in the first year. I have yet to get a new Compressor or Central unit. The units are all placed up and down my street by the same builder and we all have had the same problems. Good luck with your systems working!

10PJB24A01 heat pump installed 10-31-05. It has been repaired 5 times and still isn't cooling. I'm on my 2nd replacement compressor. Filter is plugged now so it's 85 degrees in here (Sunday, can't get new filter until tomorrow). Monday will make repair #6 and I am not confident that it will run without further repairs. I think Weatherking is junk. Read the comments on furnacecompare.com. I am going to contact Rheem just ASAP for some satisfaction. Maybe a representative will come from the company to look at this unit.

Comment only : the only reason for re-gassing any refrigeration is that there is a leak. re-gassing is ofted dignosed by those who don't know what they are doing.

We have a Goodman GMS9/GCS9 AC, furnace unit in our attic. We have had it for 10 years and last year it started to leak water in the summer time.

All A/C have a built in defrost drain and that should take away condensate from the evaporator coils during the defrost cycle.. If all the cold pipes have insulation on them, there should be no sweating. If it only started sweating for the last 2 years, you may have deterioration to the pipe insulation, or damage from critters.

You are not alone

2003 Chevy Venture Problems

You have excessive pressure built up in the cooling system. You may have air in the system as well. I would suggest purging the cooling system and making sure your thermostat is working properly.

Why would you be paying for refrigerant on a 4 year old system when most systems have a 5 year warranty on sealed systems.
Sounds like who ever it is servicing is ripping you off.

Not cooling house. Its never worked.

Check and see if the inside and outside coils are cleaned , if they are , have someone come out and check the freon in the unit it can leak out over a period of time.

Central AC unit not cooling

If you have access to your piping system you may use a soap bubbles to test the pipe connection. the leak gas will blow the bubbles if there is leaking. But if your system is out off freon gas, you can not use this method. just try it check the connection first put the bubbles around it.

A/C Gone Warm

U have a leak in the system, be it a very slow one. Have the systek leak tested with a black light, it comes from the factory with dye that glows under a black light leak detector.

No cooling although A/C runs normal.

Sound like possibly low on freon. Can't say for sure without getting my hands on it. Only reason to be low on freon is a leak somewhere in the system. A/C's don't "use" freon; the system should be completely sealed. I recomend turning the system off until you can have a qualified professional check out the system as it is very ******* the system to run it if it is truly low on freon.

AC WON'T COOL

Sounds like you have a freon leak or your compressor has stopped working. You will probably need a service tech. If it is out of freon, don't let them just add more freon, make them find and repair the leak first. Good Luck.
