Question about Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer/Dryer

Kenmore stackable I have a kenmore stackable model:110.98575120 s/n:ME3308533. It does not aggitate or spin and the tub leans to the left side.I have done nothing to fix it except internet searches.I will attempt to fix it but wanted to get some more info, if it was even worth it. The dryer also spins but does not heat!!

Washer issue is lid switch. need new one. dryer sounds like either the main breaker to unit (only 110v passing thru to dryer instead of 220...then spin with no heat will occur), the heating element is bad or a thermal switch got hot and failed (cheap to replace). There is not much to a dryer, and that covers all the possibilities.

Dryer probably element or thermostat, washer sounds like a suspension arm collapsed. Price up the parts & then decide if its worth it! Regards

The tub should move easily from side to side, however, a better test is to push down sharply on the tub and let go, it should come up and stop the first time, not bounce up and down several times. If it bounces up and down the suspension rods are shot. The part number for the kit of 4 is W10780045, all 4 need to be replaced as a set. To replace them the top needs to be loosened and lifted up, the rods disconnected from the top 2 at a time and replaced (doing opposite corners makes it easier IE: front right and left rear, front left and then right rear). Disconnect the top ends of two rods, lower top, lean washer back and pull out the disconnected two rods from the bottom, reverse the process to install.

The skate plate must line up with the base, if it is off then the washer will lean to the right or left. The washer has 4 springs under it. 3 that connect to the tub and one in the rear from tub to base:

Just purchased used a Kenmore stacked washer/dryer: tub spins during aggitation cycle. So my clothes are spinning around in water but not being aggitated. Now Im aggitated!! Grr!! How much will it cost...
Sounds like the plastic spacer between the transmission and the tub has broke. Part is no more than 5-10 bucks. Labor, not sure. Did you buy the warranty....I think you still have time to buy it if it's new... But I think Kenmore may guarantee for 30 days but you may want to call where you bought it from new.

Water under stackable washer dryer
The front panel comes off and you will be able to trace the water source. These combo units spin immediatly and if the drain is slow the water will spin up over the edge of the tub during drain.

My Kenmore model 110 will hum, but the agitator does not turn.
If the motor is running and it is not aggitating or spinning than u have a bad coupling. lean the machine back and look where the motor mounts to the transmission. look to see if you have a broken coupling connecting the two together.

Water drains during spin cycle, but tub does not spin and appears to have dropped down. Machine does aggitate.
If you can move the tub by hand laterally - the rear main bearing has likely failed - or the drum rollers are worn.

Washer won't drain or spin
sounds as if you have a lid lick/door switch issue, the machine is not recognizing the door being closed and for safety reasons will not enter spin/drain.. open anc\d close lid a few times slowly, cam you hear a "clicking noise" whe njust about closed?? id assume not replace teh lidswitch

Kenmore stackable it says model# 417.97822701 it spins but wont agitate. What can be the cause? I pulled the belt and th motor turns. But only in one direction. I tried turning the transmission it will turn but only in one direction. Which handles the agitation the motor or the transmission?
