Question about Ricoh ECABINET 1000 (410615) Server

My processing queue is locked up

My eCabinet has stopped processing documents. 917 waiting, no documents being processed. time 0.00 I know what the solution is, delete the document causing the blockage, but I do not remember how to get to the queue control. I called support, but they didnt answer the phone. I think this cabinet has already been unlocked. However, I upgraded to version 3 and I have not had the problem since. Thanks Bill McLain

If the eCabinet is unlocked, go to http://<ipaddress of eCabinet>\Diagnostics\processesqueues.ssml . The "D" in Diagnostics must be uppercase. If your eCabinet is locked, you will need a service CD, and you must call the Ricoh help desk for a "key" to unlock security first. You must be an authorized technician with a valid Ricoh ID.

FS1920 says "processing"

Hi
It would appear that there is a problem during translation from the document to the printer. The following procedure may help:-
Try turning off the printer, on the computer clear the pending jobs for the printer until none are left. Turn off the computer and wait for 30 seconds. Turn on the computer and wait until it is fully booted. Again check the printer queue is empty. If it is not clear it by deleting the pending documents again and then reboot again. Repeat if and as necessary until the printer queue is and remains empty. Restart the printer and again wait until it is fully booted. Hopefully this will have cleared the error and you can start printing again. Start with something small and simple so that you are not putting a significant processing load on either machine.
I give below a link from which the manuals for this machine may be downloaded. If the above procedure doesn't work there may be something in the manuals that will.

HP LaserJet 4100 for all applications in windows 7. When I go to print a document and click on print. The print screen exits, the print job doesn't processes, and the print queue stays empty. Noth

I have Windows 7 and I found that running troubleshoot on the printer works most of the time and keeps me from having to shut everything down.

Go to
  • Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers
  • In the upper left of the window select File
  • In the drop down list select Troubleshoot
This usually fixes the problem, really empties the printer queue, and I don't have to shut everything down.

As soon as you turn on my printer it already wants to print what i have printed previously how do i stop that from happening

You need to clear the print queue from the (any) workstation that is printing to it.

  • go to Control Panel/Printers
  • Open the printer in question
  • highlight any documents awaiting print
  • press 'delete'

The documents may not all completely delete until the printer is turned back on.

If this doesn't fix it then please reply before rating this answer as I can detail a manual method of clearing the queue, but I recommend using the above process first.

Please take the time to rate this answer.

Many Thanks Don.

Lexmark z31 printer will not stop printing

Disconnect printer cable from PC. Power off printer and unplug power cord from outlet. Wait 15 seconds. Press the power button as if to turn on with unit still unplugged. Plug back into outlet and turn on printer.

Before reconnecting to PC, check the printer's queue status. Start, Control Panel, Printers. Select the printer by double clicking to open queue status. Select any remaining documents and choose cancel from document menu bar.

We have a spooling problem. The sharp mx-2300n just says "ripping" and 20% complete but won't move from there and print anything. Can cancel print job from Mac but won't stop anything at the printer end....

Go into the Job review mode and highlight the pending print job (note: it may be stuck in processing). You should then get the option to delete the job.

Make sure that the pending print job is also cleared from the network print queue. They can sit in the queue and be persistent on processing, even after you've cleared the copier. Clear the queue prior to deleting the job on the copier.

If this doesn't, disconnect the copier from your network and try the above steps again, then reboot the copier and reconnect it to your network.

If you're trying to print out Adobe-based web pages from the internet, this may be what's causing your copier to jam up. There's known coding anomalies with Adobe-embedded documents on web pages. Trying to directly print from the web page can stall or lock up the print process.

Document won't delete from printer queue after printed

Have you tried to stop the spooler service in services?

Option 1)
Click on start orb
Type in search window:
services.msc
click ok
Scroll down to Print spooler service and click on it in the right side window.
On the left side click stop the service and wait forthe process to stop .Do not close the window yet. You will have to restart it here later.
next delete the print job in the printer queue then restart the spooler service
Resubmit your new print job.

Option 2)
If that doesn't clear it, the next step would be to stop the spooler
service as stated above
Go into windows explorer
(Print job data is collected and stored in a spool file in the spooler folder.)

It is located in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Your print job will show 2 files there Example below:
00002.SHD
00002.SPL

Delete the files located in there. There may be several of them depending apon how many print jobs you submitted. You will have to resubmit your print jobs all over again.
Next go back to services window and restart the spooler service

That will definitely fix it.

Printer document in queue will not delete

1. First, try turning printer off and on.

2. Next, on the computer side, this is how you manually clear the printer queue.

1. Go to Start, Control Panel and Administrative Tools. Double click on Services icon.
2. Scroll down to the Print Spooler service and right click on itand select Stop. In order to do this, you need to be logged in asAdministrator. At this point, no one will be able to print anything onany of the printers that are being hosted on this server.
3. Next you need to go to the following directory: C:WINDOWSSystem32spoolPRINTERS.Delete all the files in this folder. This will clear all print queues(it’s a good idea to first make sure there are no other print jobsbeing processed on any of the other printers on the server becausedoing this step will delete those jobs also)
4. Now you can go back to the Services console and right-click and choose Start for the Print Spooler service!
You can also go to a command prompt and type net stop spooler or net start spooler to start and stop the service.

I hope this helps. If you have more questions, let me know.
