Port 1 not working

Everything is right, the thing turns on the cd reads good, but the port one under the memory card doesnt work. the red light doesnt turn on when i plug it in the console. when i plug it into port 2, it works fine, but the problem is, you cant play games unless the controller is in port 1. Any help? i dont want to take it apart unless i know it can be fixed. (port 1 is player 1's controller slot)

I insert my memory stick and the computer doesn't read anything

Does the port work with any other device (preferably one that you know works elsewhere)? Try plugging the stick into a different port. If you use a hub, try a port directly on the computer. Does another computer read the stick?

If the stick reads elsewhere, it is a port issue. Check if the ports are disabled for security or power-savings. Check if there is dirt on either the port or the device. All other problems are a device failure. (If it lights up, then it is the memory itself. If it doesn't light up, it could be a bad voltage regulator (Zener diode).)

If your device is under warranty, you can send it in for replacement. However the data will not be retrieved unless you pay for that service at a data recovery shop.

I hope this helps.

Micro sd 4gb micro card.

Something is wrong with the card. Maybe it's corrupted.
But what your computer means by I/O Error is Input/Output Device Error, which means the card has issues.

Hope this helps!

Nokia e65 stuck in offline mode.

step 1>switch off your phone and turn it on again
step2>you should get a respond <: continue in offline mode>: select no
finally, i believe that everything should be ok.
if it doesn't there is alternative 2???/////

ALTERNATIVE TWO: this is useful for those who got INSERT SIM CARD RESPONSE.

WHY INSERT SIM CARD PROBLEM ?
my phone is 1yr and 6 months now and i discovered that as you remove and replace your Sim card numerous times, there is a big possibility that Sim card port will get expanded.

SOLUTION is very simple:.>>:1. buy a black solo tape
2. place it at the outer part of the sim card and use blade to cut exactly the same shape as the sim card.
3. finally stick the tape.

WARNING>>?do not stick the tape on where you have the Sim card service sensors.make use of your brain.

Transfering from smart media card to cd

Hi,

The simplest would be to read the contents of the media card/camera connected through the USB port of a PC and burn it on the PC's CD/DVD burner. Alternately, instead of the camera/USB/PC/CD burner, you can use a memory card reader for the memory card. Requirements would then be:
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Micro sd 4gb micro card.

PNY sayes you need a drive installed from their site. The problem is you can't get to this driver through their site, so I have emailed them at this time to fix the link.

Try them in a couple weeks maybe they will have fixed it by then.

Can't figure this one out

the modem/lan minipci module is faulty. from there you have that error messages and also from here you can't access your lan and again (guess) you don't have sound. very strange but true.
what you have to do is to remove the lan/modem minipci card (baterry to the right) and everything you be OK.
and if I remember correct the spare part number is: F2300-60914.
if that doesnt work try this:
entered the bios setup utility and changed the settings for the parallel port to simple port ( no ECP no Bi-directional)
this way it saves resources for the mini pci card that reports the conflict
