Dim pictures from panasonic tz4

I just got a panasonic tz4. It seems to be working fine, but pictures are just not as bright as those taken with my cannon or sony cameras. I've tried this on the same subject in the same light

    I also have a problem with images.They are yellow tinted

TZ stands for Travel Zoom. This means you get a small camera with a large zoom mainly made for outdoor good lighting conditions. But, there are custom setting that may allow you to correct for lighting. Try the Vivid color saturated setting on this camera.

It will not do as well as other cameras in lower light or moving objects.

seems the white balance is set inccorectly and the brightness is set wrong check your TV's menu and set them back to normal or reset the display controls in the tv menu if it turns all back white and dim then the display panel of your tv is needing repair

Did you try cleaning the tape head of the player?

For some reason be sure all the gear or any mechanical inside the player is freely rotating.

Adjust the VCR tracking to get a good picture.

I have a Panasonic DMC-TZ4 camera. I am on vacation and my settings got changed. I do not have the manuel with me. My flash won't work for indoor pictures and I do not know how to change the settings. Help
One of the buttons on the back has a lightning bolt icon. In picture taking mode, press the button and watch the screen....it will cycle through auto flash, red-eye flash, flash off, etc.

Water damage - screen asking to turn off camera
Hi!
The lens should be taken apart and cleaned. It could be a focus problem. In the worst case it could be a bad lens driver IC. It's a hardware fault not software so you should give it to a repair shop or Panasonic service center.
