How long should a fully charge battery last on WG250E Hedge Trimmer

This is the info i found on WG250 battery . It says up to 50 min below in the features. Hope it helps

Battery
The WORX WG250 hedge trimmer incorporates an 18-volt 1.7 Ah Ni-Cd battery pack. You can use this battery pack with other WORX Ni-CD PowerShare tools. The included charger takes about an hour to restore a dead battery to full charge.

Cordless Hedge Trimmer 18v Worx WG250E jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $("a[rel=product-image-gallery]").fancybox( { 'transitionIn' : 'elastic', 'transitionOut' : 'elastic', 'titlePosition' : 'over', 'titleFormat' : function(title, currentArray, currentIndex, currentOpts) { return 'Image ' + (currentIndex + 1) + ' / ' + currentArray.length + ' ' + title + ''; } }); });

The instruction books indicates that a green LED light will come on when charging and go off when charge is complete. Our NHT518 hedge trimmer only shows a red light, and after charging all night the red...

Check the contacts on the charger and battery are clean. They can be cleaned with IPA or meths.
Make sure the battery charger is slid fully onto the battery, it may take a little bit of pressure to do this because of the springiness of the contacts.

18 volt batteries

Yes you can, as long as the batteries are the same style and fit the older Ryobi tools. The Ah rating is a capacity rating. The higher the Ah, the longer the battery will last so the 1.7Ah will just last a bit longer than the 1.5Ah batteries, but yes you can use them on older 18v Ryobi tools. I do it all the time.
