I just purchased a USED 2001 hyundai sonata. Everythings great with it, low mileage good condition, EXCEPT the horn. it would not work. Took it to a mechanic but he charged too much. apparently a fuse was missing, and when they put the fuse back, the horn would not stop honking. It just stayed on. Any ideas what could be causing this? and will it be pricey to fix? thanks in advance!

there is a tsb for the brake switch in 06 sonatas. it must be adjusted or replaced by dealership. is your check engine light on, if so its probably code p0504

first try a new light ,maybe both of your low beams are bad ,check fuses.maybe your dimmer switch is bad

check bulbs first/ then you can check fuses usually under dash or in the engine compartment/Please rate my response thank you very much
SOURCE: horn and cigarette lighter don't work
they are normally the same on chevy, chrysler and ford... I suspect it should be the same. you might also have spare fuses inside the top panel of the lid.... Kindly please rank

it would not be a fuse. there were certain reflash tsb's. check with your local hyundai/kia dealer.does the horn still work? if not its your "clock spring" which sits behind the steering wheel. but there are a few seat sensors aslo.
