Question about Bosch Cyclone Jet Upright Vacuum
While I was vacuuming the motor suddenly went out, with the light remaining on, so when I turn the on power now the light goes on, but not the motor. It had been working perfectly fine so far. I've had it less than a year. I've emptied the dirt container and checked the filter for any excess dust. Can it over-heat? I tried waiting a few minutes and trying it again, and it will turn on, but only for a few seconds. Now what? I really don't want to have to take in for repairs. Any help is much appreciated.
There is an overheat stat which turns motor off. possible cause is filters blocked or a blockage elsewhere - no air flow and the motor overheats
