We live in a small apartment but would love to have a recliner to sit back and relax on when we come home from work. Is there such a thing as a smaller sized recliner that will not be as bulky and can fit in our living room?

While power lift recliners with heat and massage have amazing features, they are also very practical and are designed to be enjoyed by every member of the family including the elderly.
The power lift silent motor they come equipped with makes reclining seating and standing such a breeze that even to those who are recovering at home from a surgery or the elderly find these seats to be some of the most ideal for comfort.

JC Penny has some smaller framed recliners I really liked.. and also ask furniture stores for a "wall saver" recliner.. That's the type that can be right up against a wall, and recline without hitting it..

Binson's is a medical supply place, but they also carry recliners in all sizes, and there power recliners.. :) .. I was pretty impressed at the selection..

I have the same problem, but handicap and have a power wheel chair which also takes up even more room once seated in the recliner... Although I loved some of the furniture at these places.! I cannot afford them and medicare/medicaid wont pay for even a lift chair..:(

There are three types of recliners you can look for: recliners with legs, European recliners and compact recliners. I have found you a site with a few of these options to browse through. I hope something will fit your space.

I have a new Bissell Powerglide 1305 vacuum. It is red. I took the thing apart screw by screw to clean it inside out after my son decided to vacuum out the fireplace ash. However, once I put it back...

Knowing a little of how mechanical things are designed I would guess that when you took it apart you didn't notice exactly how the mechanism was set up that triggers the reclining feature. I would take it apart again. Then canalize how the reclining mechanism should work. It's probably to pieces that are not fastened together but are only held by positioning on assembly.

Flexsteel electric recliner positioned itself in full reclined position and is now stuck there. Help!

It seems that you have a short in the chair control. You should be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer. They can be contacted at http://www.flexsteel.com/home-furniture/customer-service/contact-us

What is a sauna?

"A sauna is a small room or house designed as a place to experience dry or wet heat sessions, or an establishment with one or more of these and auxiliary facilities.
A sauna session can be a social affair in which the participants disrobe and sit or recline in temperatures typically between 70 degrees C (158 degrees F) and 100 degrees C (212 degrees F). This induces relaxation and promotes sweating.
Saunas can be divided into two basic styles: conventional saunas that warm the air or infrared saunas that warm objects. Infrared saunas may use various materials in their heating area such as charcoal, active carbon fibers, and other materials."

Which is better for lower back pain: heat or ice?

As a general rule, it is best to apply cold therapy to your lower back in the first 24 to 72 hours following your lower back injury. The application of cold therapy can minimize your inflammation and swelling-which in turn may reduce your pain.

Passenger seat back will not move either direction

Motor on the seat may have gone out, contacts in switch got dirty or worn, or assembly reached limit and stuck. Try sitting in it pushing back hard and adjust. If not youll need to replace switch,b take seat apart to fix or replace.
