Locate the bobbin access panel to the right of the presser foot. Place thumb tip in the oval hole and pull to the left, (It might also tip up, but I doubt it.) Reach in and lift and grasp the little lever on the bobbin case, pull it out. Remove bobbin from case. Select the thread you want to fill the bobbin with. Place it on the thread spindle. Pull thread trough the small round tension disc on top of the machine and back toward the short spindle on the right top of the machine. If your bobbins have holes.. thread a hole and place the botton on that short spindle. Slide the bobbin and spindle toward the metal "fence". Loosen the hand wheel by turning the center knob counter clock wise. Grasp the little thread on the bobbin and start winding a few revolutions with you holding the thread. Stop and clip that short thread close to the bobbin then continue winding until full.

When the bobbin is full. Return the hand wheel knob to it's original position. Slide the bobbin winder spindle away from the "fence" and remove the bobbin. Place the bobbin in the case with the bobbin facing you... the thread when pulled should rotate the bobbin itself clockwise (VERY Important!) Hold the lever open and replace the bobbin.

you have not said what make and model.
but try this.
Always wind the bobbin before threading the machine and needle.
  1. Place spool of thread on spool pin.
  2. Slide spool pin holder/cap firmly over rim of spool to prevent thread from tangling.

Is there is a wad of thread that is holding the bobbin captive? If so, you'll need to use small scissors and tweezers to snip away and pull out the threads. Patience!

If the bobbin is actually stuck in the bobbin case, it could be because it is the incorrect bobbin for the machine or the bobbin was over-filled with thread. You may just need to use force to remove the bobbin. It may damage the bobbin and, possibly, the bobbin case. They are both replaceable. Or you can pick up an additional bobbin case and bobbin and try the new ones in your machine.

Um, you cannot fill a bobbin while it is loaded in the shuttle. To fill the bobbin, you have to remove it from the machine, go through other threading sequences and wind the bobbin on the outside of the machine. If you'd provide us with the make & model of your machine, we could probably help. With the information we've been provided, there's not much we can do.

You could stop the bobbin filling process just before the bobbin is "full."
Most machines have a finger that rides against the area being filled; maybe this is bent?

When rewinding bobbin on the 415, it is stuck & can't get it off the machine
Some how the bobbin got wound too tight. The thread must have been caught along it's path or something. You will have to unwind the thread off the stuck bobbin. Once enough thread is off the bobbin it should pull off. After that, throw that bobbin in the trash, it is now deformed and most likely will not work anymore. If you wind your bobbins with the machine threaded always make sure you have your presser foot up and Always use a metal foot.

Have a husquvarna viking 200 machine and the bobbin has stuck on the mechanism while I tried to remove it after the bobbin was filled. Have pulled and pulled and it simplyu will not come off. Thanks for...
I'm assuming you are talking about the rewinding mechanism on top. There are grooves in the bobbin which fit on to the rewinding spindle that holds the two together while the bobbin fills. It may be they have gotten out of synch or the bobbin is a non-standard Husqvarna Viking bobbin for that machine. These usually use green bobbins but they have come out with new colors but all have the Husqvarna logo on the bobbin -- an H. I would try to wiggle it slightly to try to remove it. If still will not come off, try popping it off with a flat head screw driver but be sure to put a folded towel under the screwdriver so that you don't damage the molding of the machine. If you still are unable to get it off, recommend taking it to an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. Bobbin is not filling. It barely turns.
This happened on my Janome 10000...it had to be repaired in a shop.

I filled the Bobbin, now how do I get it to go back to sewing
Something didn't click back in place when you removed the bobbin from the winding mechanism. Try winding another bobbin. Make sure it stops, then remove it. If the problem continues, take it to an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. They should still be able to take a look at it. Check Husqvarna Viking website for dealer closest too you.

turn your thread 3 turns to the right, clockwise,
then pass theend of the thread, under the coming thread and give it another 3 turns to the right.
For better results, always remove old thread from bobbin before filling it up.

Creative 1473. how can I remove the presser foot holder? I bought a set of sewing feet snap on with an adaptor for Pfaff machines. Problem is I need to remove the presser foot holder to fit the adaptor and my machine manual does not have the instructions
