We own one of these for both our houses. We live between Provincetown, MA and San Francisco, CA. We've enjoyed the frother to the extent that we're now giving them as gifts. All this to let you know we're dedicated to your product. That being said, one has stopped frothing milk. It continues to warm the milk, just no froth. The spring unit inside spins the milk and the light goes off when it appears to be finished -- but it no longer froths. The unit is about 1.5yrs/old. It is regularly cleaned and maintained. What can we do?

SOURCE: not making froth
Had the same problem, but called Nespresso. Their tech suggested the following: 1) always leave off the base - will stay on even if button not pressed 2) invert the Aerocinno for 24-48 hours to "reset" the thermostat in the device. I began leaving the base plugged in, but immediately after using and cleaning (don't get ANY water in the bottom of the machine!), I invert the Aeroccino and leave it that way. My machine began making great froth with any tyoe of milk, and continues to do so a month later -
Sounded crazy to me initially, but it works.....Never returned the device, and no need to do so now - Good luck!

I contacted Nespresso who may well replace the item
SOURCE: Nepresso aeroccino doesn't spin fast enough to froth the milk
The company will tell you to turn upside down for 24 hours to reset. I did this but it did not work. Try turning upside for aeroccino upside down for 24 hr. You do not need to do this to the base. They told me if this does not work, I need to buy a new one. I hope you have better luck. I am on my third one. you may be covered under warranty- call Nepresso soon..they cover them for about 1 year. Good luck
